Davido Gets Featured in May Issue of American Teen Vogue


Davido remains one of the few Nigerian artistes who are pushing Nigerian music to the International scene and now, the OBO singer has been recognised in the May issue of American Teen Vogue.
The issue, which features other African artistes, describes Davido as the singer who is bringing upbeat Afropop tunes to the forefront of the popular music scene. Davido, who landed on the cover of US Magazine, Fader in February, stated in the editorial that he wants to make the entire African continent proud. “I am breaking boundaries with my sound” he said.

In January, the 23-year-old singer landed a major deal with Sony BMG music and just recently floated his own label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), signing on two new artistes to the label. Davido, who has collaborated with international stars such as Meek Mill, revealed recently that he has something in the works with British actor, Idris Elba and American rapper, Future.
We now know why he is called the Baddest!
