How Ice Prince left Chocolate City after 8 years

So Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince is no longer signed to Chocolate City Records. Meanwhile, he just released a new song titled ‘Chike‘ featuring Mavin act, Korede Bello.

He revealed his departure from the music group yesterday, while on Cool FM and we wondered how eight years passed by so fast!
Ice Prince’s record deal with Chocolate City came off his affiliation with MI and Jesse Jagz. 
He gathered more attention when he dropped ‘Oleku’ featuring Brymo, and followed it up with ‘Superstar’ in 2010.
He dropped two albums {Everybody Loves Ice Prince – 2011 and Fire of Zamani – 2013} andTrash Can EP in 2015, during his stay with the label.
He collaborated with popular Nigerian musicians including Wizkid, Davido, D’banj, 2face Idibia, Sunny Neji, Sound Sultan, Burna Boy, Olamide, Phyno, and others.
He also did with African music stars like Sarkodie and AKA, and US rapper French Montana. 
Awards he won while at the label include The Headies, BET Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Nigeria Music Video Awards, Ghana Music Awards, and Channel O Music Video Awards.
He welcomed his first child in 2012
He dated Yvonne Nwosu, Yvonne Nelson, Maima…
In June 2015, Ice Prince was announced as the new Vice Chairman of Chocolate City.
Late last year, his manager told us Ice Prince will never leave Choc City, even in death.
