Like Beyoncé Knowles and Whitney Houston, Britney Spears is next to receive Billboard Millennium Award

Britney Spears will be honoured with the Millennium Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards later this month in Las Vegas.
The 34-year-old singer – who has previously won six Billboard Music Awards and had six albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart – will be presented with the prestigious prize at a ceremony at the Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22.

Billboard’s Millennium Awards acknowledge outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry and were previously presented to Beyoncé Knowles in 2011 and Whitney Houston in 2012.

Britney will also perform a mix of her hits at the ceremony, which will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara.
