Days ago, we reported the sad incident involving Nigerian singer Ketchup who suffered injuries following a jet ski accident in Dubai. Earlier reports claimed he went into coma, but the later hospital bed photo showed the ‘Pam Pam’ singer lying in bed his eyes open, an indication that it could be a minimally conscious state following severe brain injury.
However, we spoke with a member of his management team who confirmed that Ketchup was truly involved in the said accident, however, “he is fine now and recovering real fast.”
Now, the singer whose real name is Onyido Nkemjika is back on his page, saying thanks to the friend who stood by him through the terrifying first few days.
“My gratitude goes to the moon and back,” the singer said, adding, “Thank you for standing with me and believing in the ketchup dream. And most of all thank you for standing by my side when shit hit the fan. These words can’t compare to how grateful I am.”
