American TV host, Wendy Williams has hit hard at Grammy-award winning singerRihanna, referring to the Barbados native as a ‘holla back girl’.Known for her no-holds-barred opinion, the talk show host had no nice words to say about the singer who is notoriously known for her knack for nudity.
‘I think that Rihanna, at this point of her life is a holla back girl,‘ Wendy remarked to a question about Rihanna possibly being in a relationship with Drake, when a picture of the ‘Work’ singer grinding on the rapper appeared on the screen in a new episode.
‘A holla back girl is a girl that guys have fun with, with no intentions of bringing to mom,‘ she continued.
In an attempt to justify her remarks, Wendy further explained to her excited audience, ‘I believe she’s a holla back girl… and there’s nothing wrong with that at her particular age but I just want you to know that if she’s serious with any one coz no one could be serious with her because she is a holla back girl.’
Fans have however started responding to the seemingly rude remarks, with many accusing the TV host of trying to tear another young woman down.
‘Wow!!! Some things is funny but then she can be rude. To degrade a young woman instead of lifting her up. This is more than petty,’ a fan wrote on Instagram.
‘There’s absolutely nothing wrong with “serial dating” when you young,’ another fan wrote. ‘People forget Rihanna is a grown woman and can do/date anybody. She’s not obligated to be with anybody. Wendy jelly of course.‘
This isn’t the first time – might well not be the last – Wendy would go all ballistic on Riri, as she once said about the singer in 2014, ‘I don’t think anyone but Chris has been serious about Rihanna ’cause Rihanna, don’t take this the wrong way because this is an observational observation, Rihanna is like you hit the skins and scram.
‘Well I didn’t make that up! She puts it out there. Like, Rihanna is not girlfriend material. Am I wrong? Rihanna is the kind of girl she’s hot, she’s sexy. You do her, then you take your penicillin.’
