Last year, at the peak of the presidential election, singer Duncan Mighty took to his Instagram to shoot invectives at the then-aspirant Muhammadu Buhari, now the PH-based singer is begging the President for an appointment.
The singer wrote this two days ago and begged fans to share until it reaches the Office of the President: “I want you to give me the opportunity to assist your government in carrying out youth empowerment project in Niger Delta as to enable some of our eligible youths shun social vises, cultism and face there Gods given talent.”
This reads like the noblest letter from a citizen, but fans were also quick to point out that over a year ago, in February, the singer, then very hopeful for the success of Goodluck Jonathan, condemned Buhari.
Read his note on Buhari in February 2015:
“STUPIDITY is when you go to London to campaign for people without PVCs. MUMU is when you go to London and fail to come back with your acclaimed Cambridge certificate. MUGU is when you did not go to school and you forge a certificate and come online to say sai Buhari. FOOLISHNESS is when you have been shouting up Nepa since you were born but expects GEJ to become a magician within 4 years. AKPOS is when you read day and night to get a certificate and still want a semi-illiterate to rule you. 419 is when buhari said he borrow 27 million for presidential form but Buhari’s wife donates drugs worth N135m to displaced persons in Yola.”

However, the ‘Obianuju’ singer wishes to join the President in helping the youths, and he wrote a very emotional letter to prove this.
Read his note:

With the Super Eagles failing to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations and the lack of stability in the team – constant change of coach and captain as well as the not too impressive performance of different sporting teams representing the country at different global events in recent times, it is obvious that the year 2016 has not started well for Nigerian sports at all.The situation has been compounded by the refusal or inability of the National Sports Commission to make funds available to the country’s sporting contingents to different competitions in recent times. This may well be a sign of austere times. Cont..
