One of the biggest news in Nigeria this week has been the 2016 budget, specifically the Calabar-Lagos coastal rail project which caused a fracas between the the executive and legislative arm of government with accusations and counter accusations flying in the air.
Thankfully, the National Assembly has agreed that it be included in a supplementary budget to be presented before the house to the relief of many Nigerians who think this is a laudable project that deserves to see the light of day.
Beyond the economics of it all, ‘Gidi up’ actor ‘Deyemi Okanlawon has given us one more reason why this project should be done and in record time. Lagos is known for its overflow of “Yoruba demons” and Calabar being the land of beautiful “mami waters,” the project will make commute easier between both parties.
The Nollywood stakeholder took to his instagram page to share a screenshot of a conversation on the discourse captioning it “no comment”.
Speaking of Demons and temptresses, do you see just how important this project is to well meaning Nigerians? NASS, please sign that budget fast.
